Salary: Up to £14.50 per hour based on experience and qualifications

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours a week

Contract: Permanent

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery who are looking for a Nursery Nurse to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and dedicated Early Years professional who enjoys working with young children and is passionate about supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.

The Role

As a Nursery Nurse, you will support the day-to-day care and education of children, helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality care and support to children

• Supporting children’s learning and development through play and engaging activities

• Creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment

• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues

• Supporting children with their personal care needs where required

• Helping to plan and deliver activities that encourage children’s development

• Observing children and contributing to their learning and development records

• Supporting the wider nursery team with the smooth running of the setting

• Promoting good health, safety and hygiene practices

• Following safeguarding procedures and nursery policies at all times

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Caring, friendly and approachable

• Passionate about working with young children

• Patient and understanding

• Reliable and responsible

• A good team player with strong communication skills

• Keen to support children’s learning and development

• Able to create positive relationships with children and families

A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.

Previous experience working with children in an Early Years or nursery environment would also be beneficial.
