An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Home Manager to take the lead at a small residential care home in the Kilmarnock area.
We're looking for a confident and motivated care professional who can lead from the front, support and develop their team, and ensure the home continues to provide high-quality, person-centred care.
This could also be a great opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager who is ready to take the next step into their first Home Manager position, with a supportive senior management team around them.
About the Residential Home Manager role and what's on offer:
Permanent, full-time position - 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday, day shifts, with on-call responsibilities
Salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Performance-related bonus of up to £30,000 (OTE up to £80,000)
30 days annual leave

As Residential Home Manager, you will:
Take overall responsibility for the effective day-to-day management of the home
Lead, motivate and develop a dedicated care team
Ensure consistently high standards of person-centred care
Maintain compliance with Care Inspectorate regulations and relevant legislation
Oversee safeguarding, care planning and quality assurance processes
Work closely with residents, families, staff and external professionals
Monitor and improve care standards, resident outcomes and service quality
Manage staffing, performance and operational requirements within the home
What we're looking for in a Residential Home Manager:
Previous experience as a Residential Home Manager, or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up
A recognised care management qualification such as SVQ/NVQ Level 5, RMA or Diploma Level 5
Strong knowledge of Care Inspectorate requirements, safeguarding and regulatory standards
Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a care team
Strong organisational, communication and administrative skills
A proactive and hands-on approach to managing a care service
NMC registration is not required, although nurse-qualified candidates are welcome to apply
