The Role:

As a WCA Functional Assessor, you’ll use your clinical experience to assess how a person's health conditions or disabilities affect their ability to carry out everyday activities and work-related tasks.

You’ll conduct structured assessments by telephone, video and face-to-face, review relevant medical information, apply your clinical reasoning and produce clear, evidence-based reports.

You won't be providing hands-on treatment or making diagnoses. Instead, you'll use the skills you've developed throughout your clinical career to build a detailed picture of an individual's functional ability.

What We're Looking For? We're specifically looking for:

Registered Nurses

Physiotherapists

Occupational TherapistsYou must have active NMC or HCPC registration and a minimum of 12 months' post-registration clinical experience.

Strong communication skills, clinical reasoning and the ability to produce clear written reports are important for the role.
