Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist - Specialist School

£32,000-£46,000 FTE (pro rata) | Pinner, North West London | Permanent

Overview

I'm currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join the onsite therapy team at a specialist school in Pinner.

This is a permanent, part-time role working 2.5 days per week, supporting children aged 4-16 with mild to moderate SEND, including autism and ADHD. The school takes a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based approach and has an established therapy team in place.

You'll deliver a mixture of 1:1, paired and group therapy, supporting areas including fine and gross motor skills, self-care and sensory processing. You'll also complete assessments, deliver EHCP provision and work closely with teachers and families to embed OT strategies throughout the school day.

There's a strong emphasis on development and support, with regular clinical supervision, monthly dedicated CPD and the opportunity to work under the supervision of a Senior Occupational Therapist.

Requirements

HCPC registered Occupational Therapist

Experience working with children with SEND

School-based experience would be beneficial

Strong clinical reasoning skills

Confident working independently and as part of a wider team

Right to work in the UK

12 weeks' paid holiday plus additional paid Jewish holidays

Half-day admin session which can be completed from home

Paid half-day Friday closure during the winter months
