Laboratory Instrumentation Supervisor

Location – Bedfordshire

Salary – £35-40,000 (D.O.E.) + bonus

Our client is a leading provider of laboratory instrumentation and is now seeking a Lab supervisor to take responsibility for their demonstration laboratory, including equipment maintenance, calibration and safety compliance.

The Role:

• Ensuring functional operation of the laboratory space and ensuring readiness for demonstration of equipment

• Maintaining and calibration of equipment

• Maintenance of laboratory health and safety documentation, COSHH and risk assessment

• Taking responsibility for laboratory consumables and stock management

The Requirements:

Suitable applicants will have experience with:

• Maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and confidence in equipment calibration

• Prior experience working to laboratory H&S requirements and experience with COSHH assessments

• Comfortable in demonstrating equipment

• Able to problem-solve and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation

• Good organisational and communication skills

The Package:

Our client offers a permanent position with a competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000 (based on experience) along with a generous bonus package based on achievement of KPI’s
