**About This Role**

We’re looking for caring and reliable Healthcare Assistants to support a young man in his 20s in his own home as part of a 2:1 care team.

He is a happy and pleasant young man who enjoys spending time with his family, visiting busy places and local parks, travelling by car or bus, watching TV, playing football and listening to music, especially Oasis.

Your role will include providing person-centred support with his personal care, medication, nutrition, mobility and daily routine, while keeping a close eye on his wellbeing.

You’ll support him both at home and in the community, helping him enjoy activities, spend time with his family and maintain his independence.

As part of the 2:1 care team, you’ll provide support across day and night shifts.

Night duties will include supporting with his bedtime routine, overnight feed and morning routine, while ensuring he remains safe, comfortable and well supported throughout the night

**Clinical Experience**

Previous experience supporting adults with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.

**Essential Requirements**

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
