Pay: From £14.29 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay

Jane Lewis is looking for experienced Mental Health Support Workers in Derby to join our agency team and work across a range of local mental health services.

You’ll support people with a range of mental health needs, helping them feel safe, maintain their independence and take part in the routines and activities that matter to them.

What you’ll be doing:

Providing practical and emotional support

Encouraging independence, choice and social engagement

Supporting everyday routines, activities and community access

Responding appropriately to changes in a person’s presentation or level of risk

Following support plans and keeping accurate records

What you’ll need:

To be aged 18 or over

At least six months of paid UK experience supporting people with mental health needs, within the last two years

The right to work in the UK

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

A calm, reliable and professional approach

This is flexible agency work, with shifts offered according to service requirements. Hours are not guaranteed.
