💷 £15.50–£16.00 per hour | ⏰ 40 hours

We are recruiting a Senior Residential Support Worker to support the Registered Manager and lead shifts within a children’s residential home.

You will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people, promote safeguarding and positive behaviour, and support the Residential Support Worker team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and support the running of the home.
• Provide children’s residential care and support.
• Safeguard children and young people.
• Support emotional and behavioural needs.
• Supervise and mentor Residential Support Workers.
• Contribute to care plans, risk assessments and records.
• Work with families and other professionals.

About You

• Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People’s Services or equivalent.
• Experience in children’s residential care.
• Experience supporting behaviours that may challenge.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
